Originally from northern California and a mainly Indica plant, OG Kush is one of the most popular varieties in the USA. Its true genealogy is totally unknown. Some say that OG Kush is a cross between ChemDawg, a Thai Lemon and a Pakistani Kush. Others claim that it’s no more than a special ChemDawg clone from the start of the 90s. There has also been some debate about the meaning of the name OG with some claiming that it stands for Original Gangster. However, based on its origins, most now believe that it means Ocean Grown.
