Released in 2005 and encompassing both Afghani and Thai genetics, Blush is a cross of the rare and mysterious Berlin with Dutch Passion's Blue Moonshine, a Blueberry offspring with a rich gene pool. Blush grows best in colder climates, and its blue traits are enhanced even further by this kind of temperature, so in a colder set-up not only will you get the most out of this strain, but you’ll also have a good looking crop. It is not, however, a good choice for SOG and, being a grassroots sort of plant, favors soil and organic feeding over hydro and excessive chemical nutrients. Powdery mildew should be easily kept at bay but spider mites are a fan of this plant so be sure to check for any evidence that they have taken hold. Blush is a good strain to breed from and will easily yield up to 60 grams per plant indoors. Blush is a down-to-earth kind of plant and its blue/purple bud has an earthy, natural, and almost floral taste when smoked. The high is very chilled, mellow, and relaxing with great pain relieving and sleep inducing qualities.
Genetics: Blue Moonshine X Berlin
The Blue Moonshine was directly from dj short through Marc Emery's seedbank long before dutch passion started selling it. Berlin was a clone only from Federation Seed Company. [...] Blush is in the F5 generation and is always produced through open pollination never with a specific male. Seeds from unwanted plants become snack food.
