Zion's Blood is a cross of the clone only strain Mrs. Purple Peter Eater for the mother (aka Mrs. Purps aka Mrs. P) that is a mostly indica strain with unknown parents. Mrs. P. is a very very sweet smelling strain and a heavy resin producer that makes some very sweet smelling hash/extracts. The father is a Jamaican pure sativa that grows quite tall (over 3 meters outdoors) and can handle high heat extremes and low humidity. This cross does excellent in the desert areas of the PNW and any other desert climate. This cross stacks up the entire flowering period and will need supporting once the buds start forming and fattening up. Purple stems and branches usually appear very early on in veg with some phenos turning purple immediately out of the ground.
The Mrs P. mostly indica is known for having a euphoric high and to heighten focus and creativity but not slow you down like a typical indica. The Jamaican sativa has a strong euphoric high. The combination of the two makes the Zion's Blood offspring come with it's own strong euphoric high.
Zion's blood does well in indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse grows. When growing in a greenhouse top early and often as some phenos are big stretchers in flower.
There are 3 main pheno:
Pheno #1: Swee'Pea - The Mrs. P. indica pheno that has an incredibly sweet smell unlike any other "sweet" strain out there. This pheno should do well in cannabis cup competitions for both flower and concentrate entries.
Pheno #2: Zion's Blood - this is the 50/50 mix between parents that has varied aromas from sweet to chocolate and piney and some will even have a very subdued aroma making it excellent for stealth growers. Top this pheno early and often.
Pheno #3: Jamaican Blood - This is the sativa dom pheno that that tends to grow laterally which makes it easy for training. the aroma on this pheno is a sharp piney and earthy smell. Top this pheno early and often.
Flowering time is 60 days on the button for phenos 1 and 2, with pheno 3 going about 65 days.
Stretch: 2x to 3x depending on pheno.
Yield: Average (higher depending on skill level and grow method.) Indoor growers can help increase yield by mimicking natural sunlight hours for 46°N/S when in flower.
