Zkittlez BX from Purple Caper Seeds is a very popular strain in the US with its powerful sweet aroma of exotic fruits reminiscent of Skittles candies.
It is a relaxing Indica plant with euphoric notes, fruit of a cross between Grape Ape, Grapefruit and an unknown Indica, winner at the Emerald Cup in California in 2016. A year earlier, in 2015, the Skittlez clone won first prize in the Indica category of the High Times Cannabis Cup in San Francisco and Michigan.
Purple Caper Seeds has worked with this clone-only hybrid to make it available in the form of regular seeds, so that everyone can grow it and select a quality mother plant to keep. The seeds of Zkittlez BX maintain the characteristics that made the original Zkittlez so popular in American clinics.
It has a robust growth and well developed branches, which make it a good candidate for topping and growing in SCROG, or alternatively in a conventional way, adapting well as it does to any growing system: soil, coco, hydro or aeroponics.
In bloom it forms dense, hard buds, covered with terpene-rich trichomes which spread their rich aroma throughout the grow room, making the use of carbon filters or other anti-odour system highly recommended.
In indoor grows it needs 8 to 9 weeks of flowering to offer a heavy yield of up to 600g per m2 and even more when grown outdoors, where it can be harvested in early October.
