In 2007, Fabmans Farm, collected 3 northern Canada Skunk strains to start work on our Washington Skunk landrace/ibl project. By combining an auto flower and a photosensitive Skunk both from the early 70’s, as well as an F7 cross of the two, FmF used the open gene pool to start our selection from. Though selection of males and females based on their photoperiods we have eliminated all but 10% of the auto and late flower phenol types. We are narrowing down flower times to fit the quick summers of the Pacific Northwest. Thus by open pollination, germination and through meticulous selection over the past five season we have created the Fabmans Farm Washington Skunk ibl in acclimated landrace form.
Over the next few seasons FmF plans to continue narrowing down the photoperiod of the Skunks to fit in 2 outdoor harvests a year and are also working on a full auto Washington Skunk line.
