Here’s another GreenMan420 creation that is a real hammer with a dark and twisted side with plenty of that sativa punch to her, but enough body to really float you around on a cloud. She is a bit of a creeper to set in, and it will take about 15 minutes for the full “freight train” to impact you after partaking. Once you are under her influence she won’t let you go for several hours, no rollercoaster ride like the Durban Poison is infamous for, real rock steady baked silly and crispy. The sativa influences here really shine with the energy and edginess and legs of our African hybrid. She also has the tastes and smells dominant of the honeysuckle Malawi.
The Black Malawi’s paternal breeder was the Black Durban I made many years ago, using the Black Russian and two Durban Poison males, and the Cherry Malawi is my old land race Malawi female cultivar I got from South Africa, crossed out with an f3 Cherry Bomb made from several Hawaiian sativas and the infamous Cherry AK47.
She may not respond too well to heavy feeding, or soil-mixes that are too fat with available nutrients. Many of her African sativa facets shine through here, including her morphology and some of her likes and dislikes that ride along pretty standard sativa land race lines as far as no heavy feedings, use larger containers and keep the soil-mix fully composted and on the mellow side. Not known how she may react in hydro, but likely wicked.
Always allow plants to get 55 days old from sprouting, before starting to flower for maximum resin production. Greenman420 always recommends organically growing our gear for the full appreciation of smells and flavors.
