Highlo from the respected Cananadian seed bank House Of The Great Gardener is a feminised cannabis plant with high CBD and low THC content, with a 20:1 ratio ideal for medicinal cannabis users who want to take advantage of CBD without feeling the psychoactive effects of THC.
Highlo is a selection of Cannatonic, which itself originated from Juanita la Lagrimosa. It has been worked to maintain a maximum (94%) of plants with high levels of CBD and low THC. According to analyses, on average it produces 11.36% CBD compared to 0.58% THC, making it an ideal variety for daytime use, without causing the high effect typical of THC-rich cannabis.
Its growth is vigorous both indoors and outdoors, it's easy to cultivate and is suitable for all styles of cultivation: hydroponics, coco fibre, soil, etc. A well-branched plant, it's perfectly adapted to pruning, trellising and training techniques such as SOG or SCROG, and does not need large amounts of fertiliser during cultivation.
In flower it forms large resinous buds with a complex fragrance, and a terpene profile dominated by fruity notes and cherry flavours, that will have you coming back for more!
It can be harvested after 8 to 9 weeks of 12/12 and gives a medium to high yield of about 450g per m2 in indoor grows and over 500g per plant in outdoor cultivation, depending on conditions and size of plants.
At the medicinal level it can offer relief from migraines and physical pain, while being relaxing at the mental level without any psychedelic effect.
