Delicious Seeds present Descojack, a Sativa-leaning hybrid (60%) resulting from a cross between Unknown Kush and one of the most famous and prized cannabis varieties of recent decades, Jack Herer.
While the exact genetics of Unknown Kush remain a mystery, we do know that among its parents is the mythical Bay11, one of California's best-loved Sativas and winner of the prestigious High Times Cannabis Cup.
Descojack, high THC, high yields
Descojack was created as a project to improve an already exceptional Jack Herer, but one in which the Delicious team wanted to improve both production and stability. The result is utterly spectacular, as they found plants that kept the same Jack Herer flavour but with delicious nuanced Kush touches.
In addition, the offspring tested an average THC level of 23%, a considerable amount of this cannabinoid, which together with these incredible terpenes means that consuming it is a unique experience.
Growing Delicious Seeds' Descojack
Thanks to the influence of Unknown Kush, the structure of the Jack Herer has been improved and tamed a little, reducing its height and making it more adaptable and easy to work with growing cannabis indoors, and generally more simple to grow than its predecessor.
The plants grow with a Sativa structure but with a moderate height, which usually gets to around 1m. It needs about 10 weeks of flowering to be ready for harvest, at which time it can yield up to 600g per m2 of tight and fragrant buds. The use of carbon filters is recommended due to of the intense smell during flowering.
Outdoors it behaves like a real Sativa beast, reaching 3.5 metres tall if sown in spring and grown in the ground, offering spectacular yields of over 1000g per plant. It will be ready in mid-October.
Descojack, balanced effect and unique flavour
There's no doubt that one of the first things that attracts the attention about Descojack is its flavour. An exquisite blend between the woody, incense notes of Jack Herer and the intense notes of Kush from Unknown Kush that melt in the mouth and linger on the palate.
The effect is initially euphoric and energetic, after a while giving way to a feeling of well-being that's hard to describe, alongside a total relaxation of body and mind. This is a versatile and simple to grow variety that will provide you with unforgettable moments... and huge harvests!
