CBD Spiced Orange was introduced to the BSB Genetics collection in late 2017 to become our flagship medicinal variety. She is the result of a lot of researching of a strain called “Carmen”, which when smoked leaves the user overwhelmed with a delicious mandarine taste, which is a common characteristic of high CBD strains, yet not stoned. Carmen was tested and found to produce an abundance of CBD at 12.5% compared to a lower production of THC at 8.5%. And so the high CBD parent to our CBD Spiced Orange was selected and cross bred with the famous “Sugar Black Rose” to create a great tasting and stable high CBD variety perfect for those looking to medicate and still go about their daily routines as normal.
CBD Spiced Orange in her appearance is virtually identical to her parent strain the Sugar Black Rose, but her overwhelming Orange / mandarine flavour is what dominates and holds your senses hostage, so her name had to reflect this dominant characteristic.
CBD Spiced Orange also produces a high level of medicinally beneficial terpenes.
THC to CBD ratio’s will on average vary between 1:1 and 1:3, lab tests however have shown ratio’s of 4% THC to 15% CBD.
