Out of all the seeds we bred with pollen from our virile Huckleberry Hound, these are the ones that we were most excited about popping. We had only a few on hand, so we were extra careful when germinating them.

The mother in this cross is Black Cherry Soda (BCS) — what we like to refer to as our favorite cultivar of all-time —, which naturally comes to mind whenever we conceive of novel breeding projects. Simply, BCS checks off all the boxes, and with her chromosomes combined with a Huckleberry Hound male of similar qualities the anticipation was almost too hard for us to contain! As the plants progressed through the stages of growth we quickly realized that our hopes had been realized. This cannabis cultivar is truly something special. We found two definite female keeper phenotypes as well as two male keeper phenos; each sex producing one pink and one purple phenotype.
The #4 female plant produces buds that are solid dark-purple…so purple that they are nearly black. The other phenotype (#5) is what we like to describe as an “exaggerated Black Cherry Soda plant” because much like BCS the buds are pink (only more vivid), are smothered in resin glands (only in greater density), and much like BCS, and only BCS (up to this point), it shares that heavenly, one-of-a-kind, mixed-berry/cherry, red-skittles aroma so beloved to folks that have had the privilege of the experience.
Being such an easy to grow, high-yielding, richly colored, aromatic, and potent plant, Huckleberry Soda has no problem holding her own alongside the other clone-only elites being passed around today.
