Developed over the last 35 years using organic and sustainable practices in Southern Humboldt County by Lawrence Ringo and his sons. On a great "hook up" Lawrence ended up in Humboldt in the late 70's. Two years later he got on a piece of land and started breeding his favorites and mixing them with the new strains his buddies brought from around the world. Over the years Lawrence created one of the most respected seed banks in the world. Lawrence dedicated his final years of life stabalizing several strains of high CBD genetics and training his 3 son's to follow in his foot steps...

Sour Tsunami was developed by Lawrence Ringo of the Southern Humboldt Seed Collective. The high-CBD version of this strain remains a phenotype, with each seed offering a 25% chance of containing 10% to 11% CBD (and 6% to 7% THC).Ringo bred the Sour Tsunami by crossing NYC Diesel to Sour Diesel for about four years, constantly crossing it back to a Sour Diesel clone. Then he crossed the results, which he dubbed Double Diesel, to a local, sativa-dominant strain called Ferrari, and then recrossed that back to Sour Diesel to produce the Sour Tsunami, which is 60% sativa and matures after nine weeks into musky buds with sweet undertones.
