First of all the founder of SnowHigh seeds is not only a breeder but a very passionate lover of cannabis too. He was once also interested in hallucinogens, psychotropics and how they affect the body. He believes that Cannabis has helped with human evolution from the earliest hunter gatherers to the first sailors which sailed the ancient seas of the world to populate the various continents of the world. He believes that cannabis as food/seed sustained humans during times of hardship, long travel and transoceanic voyages. Such a passion he has for cannabis, he has given out many free seeds or donated to various organizations and friends. Some medical clubs in California,Michigan and Canada have carried these seeds for their patients. The results have been very positive and he think its time for others to be able to grow some SnowHigh seeds if they would like. He does not claim to be a breeder. He does and has gone to extreme great lengths to acquire solid genetics but not at the cost of others. He has grown all of the plants from seed or clone that he has used to make these crosses. The strains he grows are started in natural light then transferred to full spectrum flouros, then transplanted outdoors. He loose many plants from seedling to mature plants, only the strongest, healthiest plants make it to the pollination stage. Once plants are pollinated they are transferred to another garden many miles away to finish growing to full maturity.
4 females of two different Panama Red varieties, making it 8 females and 4 males, 2 from each variety. The Panama Red Hair variety derives from the BCO lineage originally collected by a collector from a family in Columbia who had preserved several heirloom Columbians and this Panama Red. (Panama used to be part of Columbia until it separated and became part of the United States to create the Panama Canal.) The Panama Red Hair has red, purple, and blue coloring as well as green. Pistils are red when dry and appear white and orange before turning color. The 74′ Panama Red was acquired during a peace corp mission to help the people of Panama… while they were there this plant was collected. The variances are there and distinct, as this Panama Red leaves are more jagged, the stems are more of green to brick red in appearance, depending on if it’s a green or a red phenotype. (Only red phenotypes were used in these pure hybrids. The roots at the base of each plant can produce roots that look like thorns, where the roots shoot up from the base of the stem and form barbs or stems, an attribute noted from being grown in the Darien jungle and adapting to its environment. Some of the plants bleed red sap. The 74′ Panama Red turns shades of red, but the whole plant seems to have color in the plants that is different than the Panama Red Hair. The combination of these two original Panama Red lines is to collectively combine and preserve the best features of these rare and unique lines. The high is creeper, hypnotic, trippy, and physical, affecting auditory and visual perceptions.Flowering is 18-24 weeks indoor. Outdoors or in a greenhouse with proper selection one can hopefully finish by December.
