At the Noble gardens we are always on the look out for interesting genetics to hunt and add to the collection. We are after beautiful flowers with interesting and tantalizing terpene profiles, both in flower as well as extracts. We are based in South Africa at around 1200m elevation, testing genetics both indoor under HPS and outdoor in a shadenet greenhouse. We have brought in genetics from across the globe, as well as some locally bred genetics, from multiple breeders to phenohunt and kept the cuts we found to our and the market’s liking. Testing genetics for production ability as well as quality of the smoke, along with weeding out any genetics with sexual instability. We have done two basic “breeding” runs as of December 2020, with the most recent being with some males bred by Amadeadly seeds onto some of our usual female cuts. Over the next few years we will be hunting and stabilizing desirable traits and sexual stability of the different lines created in this last run.
This is one of our strains with a bit of a longer story. It is a super frosty strain(male was covered in trichomes) that leans towards the sativa end of the spectrum while growing. The mother was from bagseed grown by a local grower known as Franken Squirrell, it was from some gorgeously grown outdoor flower from Dutch Passion breeders(Combination of Cali O, Passion fruit and Glueberry OG) we are not sure if the flower was seeded from a stray plant in the area or from one of the Cali O that hermied. They were grown at backpackers in suburb called Diepsloot, South Africa, we decided calling the bagseed Diepsloot Passion would be a fitting name. The father was a 24lb Cake bred by Irishdabs, a cross of 24k Strawberry(24k Banana, Utopia Farms, x Strawberry Shortcake, Dark Horse) and London Poundcake.
