Kalashnikov Seeds is a group of Cannabis seed breeders and Cannabis lovers with a military background, breeding cannabis seeds in Russia since 2002. The group has a base in Kuban region, growpartners in Saint Petersburg and in the Far East region close to China. All their amazing strains are the result of cross breeding AK-47 (Serious Seeds) clones with Dutch, Spanish, Eastern European and Afghan landraces. After years of experiments, Kalashnikov Seeds has achieved a line of EXPRESS strains - fast growing and cropping. Express strains aren't autoflowering strains, but feminized plants able to give the flowers two week ahead of any other femenized strain. This is absolutely unique and new to the world cannabis seeds market. Because of this know-how element, Kalashnikov Seeds don't announce the exact genetics of these strains.

Kalashnikov Seeds started working on AK Skunk by crossbreeding AK-47 with the Skunk strain in the 2000 and by the year 2005 they finally stabilized the genetics and got a reliable stable hybrid strain, reinforced with a little bit of Sativa from the Russian Far East, which resulted in a next generation hybrid with bigger crops and better qualities all in all. This variety developes a medium-sized plant, characterized by a relatively short flowering period (60 days) and produces high yields.
