Dane Strains was created in 2010 by two Danish friends. We Decided to make our own auto strains with a low price for other growers. That became very exciting, so we decided to make some other new regular strains and some new auto strains with bigger yield and more potent. We have only high grade seeds, and we test all our strains before they hit the market. We have both in and outdoor seeds, that can be grown in Scandinavian up to a latitude of 55° and even higher.

Northern Light is among one of the most well-known varieties in the world. It is an Indica dominant variety grown in the 1970s when it was brought back to the United States from Afghanistan. In the 1980s, it came to Holland where it quickly set the standard for indoor cultivation. We in Dane Strains chose to cross our Indica dominated Blue Matic (male) with a tall Northern Light automatic (female) of about 140cm. It was the new addition to the family, Matic Light. Matic Light held steady at around 80-90cm below 400w HPS, but could quite easily be over 1 meter. The return is within the vicinity of the 30 grams of trimmed dried buds. The effect is very relaxing for the body and is not so much headhigh due to its indica dominance. It can be smoked during the daytime without you feel the urge for a little nap. The pre-dried shoots have a slightly metallic scent when you squeeze the compact shots. The flavor is slightly sour of some grapefruit with some earthy undertones.
