We are not new to cannabis; we are simply breeders of many NEW and unique cultivars. Here at our home of magnificent mountain vistas, lakes, and fresh crisp air, we have been, and still are known for our cannabis cuttings from which our roots first emerged. After years of considerable acquaintance with the finest cannabis cultivars around, it became a natural progression for us to evolve into the cannabis breeding industry. Given the calcified specter of prohibition, we have had to operate quietly in the shadows for some time now. However, our seeds have found gardens in far-reaching places, wherever growers and patients pursue the cultivation of quality medicine. From such customers that have reflected their experiences back to us, we can confirm the inherent genetic quality of our seeds, giving us validation from not only these long-term customers, but from fellow cannabis breeders as well. Our customer satisfaction and the loyalty engendered by such give us humble pause.Breeding quality genetics requires time. We reject more cultivars — no matter the hype — if it does not meet, in our humble opinions, our standards. Then, there’s the matter of stabilizing crosses — very much a quality control mandate. Many breeders might skip these methods as these add to costs. Then, there’s the desire (quick profit motivation?) of wanting to be first-to-market, for what that matters. Not us. We breed with only our tried and true, best performing varieties. We continue to pursue our breeding endeavors today with a forward thinking mindset and industry improving practices.
Our intention in creating Wildberry was to breed one monster indica-dominant strain. Thus, we turned to two of our very top varieties that both exhibit such traits along with an abundance of highly resinous flowers and healthy yields. We think that such a combination makes for very effective natural medicine. We chose our garden favorite Black Cherry Soda for this project’s mother. BCS is the very first strain that we ever grew, and that to this day sits atop a pedestal as our favorite strain of all time. It has lived up to the hype because it, simply, has it all. The pollen for this cross came by way of Gorilla Biscuit (from Seeds of Compassion), which in only a few years has earned our regard as one of our top garden strains because of its complex dank aroma, short stature, and for the way that it stacks greasy buds along its branches. These big-name parents are both heavy hitters in the garden and make effective natural medicine, and we find that Wildberry shares these same characteristics. All phenotypes grow into bushy monsters when topped; sporting many large colas that shall need to be supported for their weight. While the Biscuit´s influence can be discerned, all phenotypes most closely resemble BCS. For anyone that has ever wanted a BCS in seed form, our Wildberry #3 is the closest to it in our experience as it shares the same gorgeous colors, leaf shape, growth structure, and the mixed berries aroma. Wildberry: colorful healing medicine!
